“Little Manhattan” review

In the movie “Little Manhattan” the two main characters Rosemary and Gabe have known each other since kindergarten and they have been friends since then but in the first grade everything changed he started thinking that girls had cooties. Five years later he joins a karate class and everything starts to change when Rosemary becomes his karate partner. The directors of the movie were Mark Levin and Jennifer Flakett.

“Little Manhattan” takes place in present day New York. In the beginning Gabe thinks that girls have cooties but that changes when he joins a karate class. That’s when he noticed Rosemary. He starts hanging out with her and starts developing a crush on her. The more and more time Gabe spends hanging out with her he falls in love with her.

I liked the movie because it showed what Gabe’s experience of falling in love for the first time was like. I also liked that it showed what Gabe was thinking or imagining. Another thing about the movie that I liked is that the movie is for everyone to watch.

I didn’t like that Gabe and Rosemary get barely any time to spend together because Rosemary had so many things to do. I also didn’t like that Rosemary’s parents were there and the nanny.
